Malvern House London Welcomes Malvern’s Top Scholars from Malaysia

On Sunday 14th May 2017, Malvern House London welcomed the three top scholars from Malvern International Malaysia. The top scholars, received a warm welcome from Dr Sam Malafeh, Deputy CEO, at Heathrow Airport and were then taken to meet their London host families at their home stay accommodation. They were further welcomed on Monday by Jean Daruvala, Principal at Malvern House, and the team in the center, before joining their classes and meeting their fellow students from all around the world. The aim of the trip is to expand the horizons of the participants and to foster international understanding, while providing English language practice in one of the most vibrant and historic cities in the world.  Malvern House London is in Kings Cross, an exciting area of new developments in the heart of London

The visit is part of Malvern’s strategy to reward its top scholars further for their hard work and achievement. This is the start of the series of arrangements between Malvern International campuses. The package includes the air ticket from Kuala Lumpur to London, 2 weeks of English language courses in Malvern House London, accommodation in London, airport transfer and a London transport travel card. It also includes fully organised social activities during the two weeks, with visits to iconic London landmarks, such as the London Eye, the Sky Garden and Madame Tussaud’s, as well as the usual sights.  The group join weekend day-trips to Cambridge, Windsor Castle and Oxford, and are given support towards their day-to-day living expenses in London.

The top scholars were selected from a number of top students who have a high level of achievement in their studies. Malvern would like to take the opportunity to thank the other deserving top scholars and to apologise for not being able to cater for all of them on this trip.
