Malvern House has one teaching site in the heart of London, which you can reach by using one of its several nearby bus routes or Underground stations. We are only a 5-minute walk to Kings Cross underground and overground stations with direct access onto the Northern, Piccadilly, Victoria, Metropolitan, Circle and Hammersmith & City lines, so it’s very easy to reach the school from wherever you live!
If you want to explore outside of London, you’re lucky because there are also direct links to other towns and cities throughout the UK from Kings Cross and St Pancras stations and Euston station, which is within easy walking distance. St Pancras International, with trains to Paris, Brussels and other parts of Europe, is only 7 minutes’ walk from the centre.
As our building is in the heart of Kings Cross, London, it’s surrounded by a great selection of bars, shops, restaurants and other local attractions to enjoy and explore. The popular Gagosian Art Gallery is only a 5-minute walk away; ideal for a cultural lunchtime break. Other popular places to visit near the school include the British Library and the Wellcome Collection.
All classrooms are equipped with interactive whiteboards and provide seating for between 8 to 30 participants. The building is air-conditioned and has wi-fi throughout. There is full disabled access and all rooms are on the first floor, reached by a lift from the ground floor. All our classrooms are fully furnished and the large floor to ceiling windows provide all rooms with lots of natural light.
In addition to the classrooms, the relaxation area in the centre of the building provides comfortable seating, with hot and cold drinks and light snacks available. We have lots of computers available for you to use if you need to type up a CV or just chat to your family. There’s also a Study Centre where you can do additional practice either before or after your class, making use of the resources available to you for free. Meanwhile, both teachers and students enjoy playing table football together between classes!
