A Fellow of the RSA, his teaching and research background lies in organisational behaviour and business strategy. Professor Ian Brooks has published his work in many peer reviewed journals, including Organization Studies, the British Journal of Management and Long Range Planning. His popular text book, Organisational Behaviour, is in its 4th edition (5thshortly). He now combines a range of board level responsibilities with higher education advisory and consultancy activity in the private and public sectors in the UK and overseas. As a UK Senior Academic Advisor, Professor Brook will provide support to the executive team towards it programme and partnership expansion.

Professor Ian Brooks has recently joined the group as the UK Senior Academic advisor, after his retirement from his position as the Deputy Dean of Northampton Business school (NBS) at the University of Northampton. He is currently Director at Brooks International Education Limited and Visiting Professor of the University of Northampton, where he was the Executive Dean of the Northampton Business School (NBS), until 2016. The school was nominated in 2014, 2015 for the Times Higher Education Business School of the Year. He was also the University’s strategic lead for internationalisation, academic alliances, the taught portfolio and academic planning and Director of the University’s International Office and the Academic Partnership and Planning Office.
