Malvern House London
Malvern House meets the high standards set by our accreditation bodies: the British Council and the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI). We are regularly inspected and assessed for teaching and all aspects of the student experience. We are also UK Visa and Immigration Tier 4 sponsors.
1. British Council
The British Council inspected and accredited Malvern House London in October 2024. The Accreditation Scheme assesses the standards of management, resources and premises, teaching, welfare, and safeguarding under 18s and accredits organisations which meet the overall standard in each area inspected
This private language school offers courses in general and professional English for adults (18+), general English for young people (16+) and vacation courses for under 18s.
Strengths were noted in the areas of strategic and quality management, staff management, premises and facilities, academic management, course design, learner management, care of students and leisure opportunities.
The inspection report stated that the organisation met the standards of the Scheme.

2. Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI)
ISI carries out Educational Oversight inspections of private further education colleges and English language schools in England and Wales. This is a requirement when applying for or renewing a Sponsor licence to recruit international students under the Student visa route.
Malvern House London’s most recent inspection was an Extended Monitoring Visit on 19 March 2026. The report confirmed that the quality of our curriculum, teaching and learners’ achievements remains good, with inspectors noting effective initial assessment, well-planned lessons delivered by highly qualified specialist staff, good pastoral support, and strong progression outcomes — all students who met with inspectors had received university offers.
The report also identified two areas where the college needed to strengthen its safeguarding and staff recruitment arrangements. We have treated this as a priority and have already taken significant action to address it, including a full review of our safeguarding policy and recruitment checks.
