Isahariya Dawit, joined us this month as our Student Services Officer for Accommodation. This is an entirely new role and one that we believe has become increasingly important if schools want to keep up with the expectations of their students. So much of the student journey is affected by things that our outside their direct experience of their lessons and the course that they have chosen to study. London is a big, exciting city, and city life can move at a very fast pace. Where a student chooses to live – and the type of accommodation they have picked – can have a big impact on their stay.

Though many of our new students tell us they loved London from the moment they arrived, that isn’t always true for every student. Sometimes students can experience a little bit of ‘culture shock’ in their first few days, and we believe that having a ‘Londoner’ like Isahariya around to help and advise them while they are here will make becoming a ‘Londoner’ themselves so much easier!
