Our homestay hosts come from all walks of life, just like the homes they open to students. You might stay with a lively family, a retired couple, a working professional, or a unique combination of all three. Every host is carefully selected and regularly checked by our dedicated Accommodation Team to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for our students.

How it works

Most homestay hosts are located in residential neighbourhoods that offer a quieter, more relaxed atmosphere, often with more space than properties closer to the city centre. These areas are well-connected by public transport, making it easy to get to school and explore the city.

You can choose the room type and catering option that suits your preferences and budget—whether that’s a single room with a shared or private bathroom, and meals ranging from Half-Board and Bed & Breakfast to Self-Catering. All homestays include access to laundry facilities and Wi-Fi, and we can also arrange female-only homes on request.

Under 18s

Arrangements can also be made for a homestay hosts that are able to accommodate 16- and 17-year-old students.

Single B&B 18+ shared bathroom £195 per week
Single self-catering 18+ shared bathroom £185 per week
Twin* HB 18+ standard diet shared bathroom £205 per week

*Twin room only available to students travelling together

5% will be added to 2025 homestay prices for 2026 bookings
If guardianship is required, additional fees may be added
