Congratulations to Andrea from Colombia on completing her General English course with us. During her time here, Andrea progressed from Intermediate to Upper-Intermediate.

However, what does that mean?

An intermediate-level student can have discussions about lots of different topics such as food or school, they have a good level of vocabulary for each topic and can use a variety of tenses such as present perfect and past perfect. Now that Andrea is upper-intermediate, this means she has learnt talk about more complex topics such as politics and science. She can now use more complex grammar such as mixed conditionals and her vocabulary is more specific and accurate.
