Our Teachers
I trained as an English teacher in 2009 and have taught in London and Japan. I also have a Master's Degree in Applied Theatre, and I enjoy using my drama experience for role plays and English language games. I enjoy teaching all levels and meeting people from all over the world.
Teaching really is my passion; that and travelling. So after having spent over twenty years working for the British government, I decided to focus all my energy on teaching students from all over the world. Sharing information and culture is a valuable way of learning about others. My job allows me to engage with students in a communicative and motivating way, making learning enjoyable while at the same time helping them achieve their goals. No two days are the same.
I trained as an English Language teacher in London in June 2010 and I have been teaching English ever since in a variety of international schools in London and the UK, before joining Malvern house in July 2018. One of my favourite aspects of teaching English is the wide range of nationalities of the students, learning about their various cultures, and languages. Being trilingual in English, French and Spanish with an intermediate knowledge of German help me understand the learning needs of the students we teach here. Every day is unique at Malvern House. Please come and see me and I will always be happy to assist you! Enjoy your studies in London!
I have been teaching at Malvern House for more than 12 years. It’s fabulous meeting students from all over the world at our college. An important part of my job is helping my students to speak and communicate more effectively and with confidence. Therefore, my lessons always have a strong focus on encouraging students to speak a lot while improving their vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation. When I’m not teaching, I enjoy listening to music from around the world, I also have a passion for language (I also speak French, actually!).
Hello, I’m Chloe! I come from Northern England and I have taught English for many years now. At the moment I’m responsible for helping students who are beginners at English progress to a higher level. Outside of teaching I adore the theatre and London is an excellent city for those of you who also love cinema and the theatre!
